Learning From The Real Housewives – How to Skyrocket a Brand

By Kathy Zucker • September 12, 2013

I didn’t know what to expect when I attended the Fashion Forward Conference yesterday in the Manhattan meatpacking district. I am not exactly a fashionista – my idea of style is to wear a top NOT covered in spitup. However, I have been making an effort to channel my inner fashionista ever since I won a Shorty Award last April.

fashforward-thumbnailA one-day conference located in the meatpacking district of Manhattan, #FashForward attracts bloggers in the tristate area who come to meet brands such as GM and American Express and get tips directly about how to approach them. The event was packed with powerhouse celebrities and bloggers including Rosie Pope and Countess LuAnn De Lesseps of the Real Housewives of New York. These ladies were incredibly candid, talking about how they rose to prominence and answering questions about ranging from time management to marriage.
