Saturday Selections: Indoor Carnival & the Arts

The Metro Moms are looking forward to a sunny summer weekend, fingers crossed the Saturday rain stays away! Here are our top picks:

  • Get out of the rain and into kid games with the Kidgit’s Carnival on Saturday, August 18th from 12pm-2pm at Center Court in Newport Centre Mall. Free event for Kidgits Club members (annual membership cost is $5), details at the club website.
  • Enjoy ice cream and live outdoor music this Saturday, August 18th from 12pm-10pm at the free Lackawanna Music Festival at Pier A park in Hoboken. Details are at the festival website.
  • Expose the kids to fine art with the last summer Hoboken Gallery Walk this Sunday, August 19th from 2pm to 6pm.  You’ll be able to catch up on the local art scene at several galleries around town led by PVS Gallery owner Jay Boucher.
