Parenting Product Pick: Apartment-Friendly Water Table

With all the developmental benefits (and fun!) that playing at a water table can offer a young child — such as physical-motor, cognitive, and sensory skills — this Metro Mom knew that she wanted to include regular water play for her toddler outside of bath time. But with no outdoor space, and an urban dwelling offering tight square footage, options for an apartment-friendly water table were limited.

Thankfully, edushape offers the perfect solution in its sturdy, see-thru activity tub and x-stand. In addition to the clear tub helping to foster an understanding of the transparency of water, the lack of color is a welcome break from the standard brights found in so many toys. For storage, the x-stand folds up and can be put under a bed or next to the fridge, and the tub fits nicely in the shower or bathtub, hidden neatly behind the curtain.

Please note that water will definitely get on the floor during play, so a non-slip mat of some sort is recommended.
